Asha Ashanti is an Afro-Jamaican screenwriter, actor, and singer. Her work is best known as the Melody Jones drummer of Josie and the Pussycats in the CW's Riverdale. Asha is also known for her role in the role of Zadie in the Netflix smash Locke and Key. She's composed HURRICANE summer and songs for the RIE.
