Litsa Menounos, Maria's Mother, was 61 when she was diagnosed with GBM, a tough to treat, malignant and aggressive type of cancer that affects the brain. Menounos was actively taking care of Maria's mom, who had undergone chemotherapy as well as radiation. Mariah Carey is an American singer songwriter record producer and actress. Guinness World Records calls her the Songbird Supreme. She is known for songwriting and a five-octave range in vocals and melismatic style.
